The integrated KOmbatchain ecosystem creates new earning opportunities for athletes, provides never-before-seen protections for active fighters and will develop new pathways into boxing by developing and investing at the grassroots level. Fans will be able to engage with the sport in all-new ways, with unique experiences, access and content offered through the KOmbatchain super-app. We have assembled a strong team of advisors to help guide the initiative, featuring some of the biggest names in combat sports, both past and present.

The KOmbatchain marketing & communications is dedicated to developing and executing innovative and effective global marketing across our brand. They are tasked with developing high-impact, iconic and culturally relevant creative for consumer marketing, content and experiences across our rapidly growing brand.

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Digital Channels to help us in defining and delivering on our digital strategy.

As our Head of Digital Channels, you will play a critical role in defining our digital strategy. You have a passion for digital marketing, innovation, and results delivery, be comfortable with data-and analytics-led approach to maximise channel and content performance. As well as extensive experience in digital channels including paid social, PPC, email marketing, CRM and SEO.
As KOmbatchain Head of Digital Channels you can expect to:

Build and manage a small in-house social media team and required agency partners
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital cross-channel marketing plan, leveraging paid social media, PPC, email marketing, CRM and SEO.
Divide and prioritise workload, supporting the digital media team to align their strengths to role responsibilities and work to drive their career development
Work with other heads of department, particularly our Head of Social Media and Editor in Chief to ensure sure that success is at the end of the road for every project
Be responsible for your own P&L within your department
Ensure that all work delivered is of exceptional quality from all teams, driving best practice

The skills and experience required for the role:
Degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or similar field
8+ years of progressively senior experience within a digital agency or in-house environment; experience with sports or cryptocurrency brands preferred
Proven record of working successfully with cross-functional departments, in fast-paced environments with changing direction, preferably start up
Experience working in digital strategy and operations
Strong technical knowledge of online software and tools for marketing
Knowledge of online communications strategy, data strategy, multi-channel marketing, web analytics and data analysis, branding, public and media relations and product/proposition development, as well as evaluation of marketing programmes.
Capable of managing budgets and acting like an owner
Able to forge relationships with key stakeholders and people around the business
Eye for detail, are well-organised and used to working on multiple tasks
Ability to use data to validate ideas and measure impact
Fluent written & spoken English is required with excellent communication skills.
What would really make your application stand out is:

Previous experience working in boxing or combat sports
A working knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrencies
Fluency in additional languages would be a bonus
