We have a current opportunity for a Head of Finance on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Beaconsfield. For further information about this position please apply.

Our client is an owner, asset manager and developer of commercial and mixed use development and investment properties. They are seeking a Head of Finance to primarily provide accurate, timely and helpful accountancy services and support for the business.

The Key Responsibilities for the Successful Candidate are:

Provide a point of contact on financial matters e.g. bad debt write offs, new tenant financial evaluations, VAT legislation compliance and opting to tax properties where applicable.
Lead on the effective use and integration of the MRI Horizon system, ensuring that all users are following the correct procedures
Preparation of the annual budget for the IPP.
Prepare and submit the monthly board reports for the IPP including variance analysis and an explanation of the key variances.
Ensuring timely production of the monthly management accounts information.
Developing, preparing and maintaining 3-year forecasts for the business
Manage the insurance portfolio and agree the starting, closing and adjustment schedules with our brokers.
Preparation of the annual accounts for all companies within the IPP, including monthly reconciliations, the working papers, supporting spreadsheets and the final statutory accounts.
Manage the auditors in finalising the annual audited accounts for the business.
Manage full debtors process, running meetings with Estates Manager

The Candidate

Solid and relevant experience in property accounting
Proven experience using a property management system (MRI Horizon, Qube, Yardi, Tramps, etc)
Ideally a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with hands on practical experience or equivalent
Strong Excel and analytical skills
