The integrated KOmbatchain ecosystem creates new earning opportunities for athletes, provides never-before-seen protections for active fighters and will develop new pathways into boxing by developing and investing at the grassroots level. Fans will be able to engage with the sport in all-new ways, with unique experiences, access and content offered through the KOmbatchain super-app. We have assembled a strong team of advisors to help guide the initiative, featuring some of the biggest names in combat sports, both past and present.

KOmbatchain is currently recruiting for a Head of Public Relations to join our growing marketing & communications team. In this role, you will work with a team of graphic designers, video production leads & other creative talent to help raise the profile of KOmbatchain and its affiliated athletes.
The KOmbatchain marketing & communications is dedicated to developing and executing innovative and effective global marketing across our brand. They are tasked with developing high-impact, iconic and culturally relevant creative for consumer marketing, content and experiences across our rapidly growing brand.
As KOmbatchain Head of Public Relations you can expect to:
Develop and manage an in-house PR team and function
Support transversal cooperation both across the wider marketing & communications team & with other departments and internal stakeholders across KOmbatchain
Maximise the value of both owned, partner and paid media channels
Lead both inbound and outbound media relations
Build and maintain relationships with key journalists and media outlets
Be the touchpoint for all media and social events
Be responsible for press budget reporting and managing activity within budget
Build and monitor the costing of press and influencer coverage on an annual basis working closely with the social media, editorial, digital & creative teams
Drafting presentations on key activity (launches, social events) for internal information
Split and prioritise workload, supporting the PR team to align their strengths to role responsibilities and work to drive their career development
The skills and experience required for the role:
Degree in marketing & communications, public relations, journalism or similar field
8+ years in progressively senior positions within a PR agency or in-house environment; experience with sports or cryptocurrency brands preferred
Proven record of working successfully with cross-functional departments in fast-paced environments with changing direction
Experience in how to measure PR success and how to translate it back into business success
Experience in leading and managing PR agencies & direct reports
Strategic mindset and understanding of how to localise global initiatives for other markets
Good network of PR contacts & influencers
International experience, working across regions and with a variety of cultural backgrounds
Fluent written & spoken English is required with excellent communication skills
What would really make your application stand out is:
Previous experience working in boxing or combat sports
A working knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrencies
Fluency in additional languages would be a bonus
