Job Description : About Us:URJA works for rights of homeless women and LBTQ youth aged 18-30 years coming to Mumbai from across the country grappling with systemic inequalities due to gender and caste based violence. Our participatory approach works at prevention, protection and empowerment based rehabilitation of these women by facilitating access to safe spaces, nutrition, holistic healthcare, civil and legal, education and skill building support. Our interventions are driven by an ecosystems framework to bring about sustainable change and create a society where youth from marginalised sexual and gender identities are able to live with dignity and to their fullest potential in a three pronged approach: Holistic rehabilitation; Systemic engagement and societal engagement. It is crucial for members of the civil society and government systems to facilitate safe spaces with the understanding that it serves as a temporary solution in the broader movement to reduce recidivism and homelessness.HR Related tasksEnd to end recruitment process; Managing processes related to staffing and ensuring timely and efficient fulfilment of all staffing requests.Screening and short listing candidates for employers to interview.Salary negotiation, facilitation with on-boarding and orientation process, exit formalities.Managing details and attendance of all human resources including staff members, volunteers, interns, visitors etc.Handling inquiries by the staff members, assisting to managementMaintaining HR database such as payroll, daily hours clocked in for each employee, taxes.Assistance in the process of Performance appraisal program and Compensation structure of the organization.Responsible for Salary Processing / Payroll Support – Calculation of Payable Days, OT, Extra Hours.Communications and DocumentationHandling the official mail IDMaintaining calendars of staff meetings, circulating MoMs, program updatesPlanning admin meetings frequentlyDrafting mails, letters and other internal/external communications of the organizationDrafting Job descriptions, Appointment letter, Experience Letter, Internship LetterDrafting HR policies eg, Attendance policy, Payroll process, Onboarding process, Selection process, Recruitment policy, Anti-harassment policy, Leave Policy, Grievance policyDeveloping Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for employee performanceIdentifying legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensured policies and procedures are all in compliance.Asset maintenanceOversee management of the assets across all programs, EMI maintenance and managing accountsSecuring the assetsConducting surprise visits at the various premises.Education & other required qualifications/experience/skills for the job:Masters in Industrial/organisational psychology1-2 years’ experience in HR, NGOs preferredStrong communication skillsOpen to: Women/persons from marginalised genders above 25 yearsProficiency in English, Hindi, MarathiJob Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentPay: ₹20,000.00 – ₹30,000.00 per monthSchedule:Day shiftExperience:HR: 1 year (Preferred)total work: 1 year (Preferred)Language:English (Preferred)Speak with the employer+91-XXXXXXXXXX
