Job summary
The Amazon Vision Operations Center (AVOC) team is an initiative, which remotely handles exceptions in the Amazon Robotic Fulfillment Centers Globally. AVOC seeks to complement automated vision based decision-making technologies by providing remote human support for the subset of tasks which require higher cognitive ability and cannot be processed through automated decision making with high confidence. This team provides end-to-end solutions through inbuilt competencies of Operations and strong central specialized teams to deliver programs at Amazon scale. It is operating multiple programs including TRON, VBI, Proxemics, and other new initiatives in partnership with global technology and operations teams
AVOC team is seeking an experienced customer-obsessed Instructional Designer who will be responsible for overseeing training delivery, instructional development and knowledge assets. Your work will creatively use instructional design, learning methods, videography, and appropriate technologies to enhance learning and engage learners through blended learning solutions.
You are comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You understand adult learning in addition to being a creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for excellent customer service. You are also willing to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done while insisting on the highest standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assess audience and analyze learning gaps to implement innovative networked learning solutions that assist the business to meet strategic initiatives and future growth
Design, Develop and deliver innovative, scalable and powerful design and learning solutions enabling our operations and other stakeholders to be more effective.
Manage projects and processes in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities
Ability to create opportunities with customizing ID methodologies and blended approaches to design best-fit solutions
Manage diverse group of stakeholders across organizations and regions to understand customer needs and offer and drive solutions
Attempt to address most critical skill gap needs as well as define and create content/media standards for process.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and partner strategically with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to drive results
Improves, streamlines, and/or eliminates (Non-Value Added)NVA process to drive efficiencies
Mastered in using Authoring tools, Design/illustration tools. Demonstrated advanced level of expertise in video and audio editing
Pursue a deep understanding of learner roles to ensure that learning solutions meet the needs of stakeholders and end users
Able to delay, host and manage Learning & content management systems
Proven understanding on Web Design basics and tools for any integrations and content hosting requirements
5+ years experience as an instructional designer or any related position, such as Learning Experience Design, Communications, Education, UX Design or Multimedia training solutions. 2-3 years in team management and ID process set-up initiatives

Proven experience designing and delivering customer-facing content under tight deadlines
Conceptualize technical/functional content into something creative and effective.
