Use your exceptional iOS development skills at Ayla Networks. Be responsible for developing new innovative IoT applications that make it easy for people to connect and manage their IoT possessions from their mobile phones and tablets.
What You Will Be Doing
Development
Working in an agile engineering culture that is customer focused
Implement highly reliable, scalable, maintainable, and reusable code for iOS devices
Design, and implement mobile application View Controllers, Programmatic Views, and custom controls for IoT products
Support Engineering
Provide 3rd level technical support to Ayla’s Global 2000 customer base for launched internet connected products (everything from refrigerators to door locks to baby socks)
Research, triage, escalate and follow-up on support cases with internal engineering teams
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and address urgent issues quickly
Identify issues suitable for entry in the Ayla Knowledge Base (KB). Write, review, and release KB articles
Provide technical consultation and knowledge transfer with Technical Support, Professional Services, Product Management and Engineering to coordinate resolution of technical issues.
Desired Skills and Experience
4 or more years of mobile application design and development experience
Experience implementing RESTful mobile applications in highly rated App Store deployed applications
Experience delivering new ViewControlers, Maps, and Geofencing. Ability to apply HLS Video, Firebase for notifications, deep linking, and metrics
Code multi-tasking skills for processes, tasks threads management and debugging
Applied security & privacy skills such as SSO, OAuth, IDP, and GDPR requirements
Familiarity with IoT device in a LAN and PAN networks
Experience with SQLITE databases
BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) preferred
Expertise in at least two of the following skills: Networking, Security, Object Oriented Design, Java, Kotlin, Swift, React Native, Objective-C, Xamarin, JSON/JSONP/XML, JavaScript HML5 CSS3, RESTful APIs & services
