Job Description : Role Overview:
IT Solution Architect – Advance Planning System will craft and collaborate on a roadmap of Advance Planning System Management and Operations solutions that deliver product to market fast for S&N Globally. Advance Planning System Solution Architect partner with related Product Owners and Product Directors to ensure the design and deployment of quality system solutions that consolidates all Advance Planning System, Planning and Operations software into a core set of solutions that reduces the overall application footprint.
Solution Architect will simplify the Advance Planning System business on a common set of applications that will drive delivery of products to market faster. The architect will own all design in Advance Planning systems technical solutions that will deliver the desired business outcomes. Solutions will need to be in alignment with enterprise architecture standards published by Enterprise Architecture function. To meet quality requirements, technical constraints, and performance requirements. You will coordinate the quality of output arising from solution build and responsible for acceptance of the technical integrity and architectural compliance of the solution. Will work with both on premise and cloud based technologies to design the efficient solution for the customer.
Responsibilities:
(60%) Owns architecture for sophisticated IS/IT solutions to be deployed for S&N Advance Planning System operations related projects (releases and/or rollouts) including architectural requirements bring together, fit/gap analysis, sprint reviews, cloud maturity, training, functional specification approvals, automated testing, configuration, data conversion and solution governance in a Hybrid on premise, cloud architecture.
(20%) Ensures solution consistency and assists in facilitating the change leadership interventions within Advance Planning System Management/Operations and contributes to Advance Planning System IT continuous improvement by assessing impact of the new requests on the core architecture.
(10%) Focus on continuous improvement, keeping up with industry and proactively advice the business of new capabilities that can help them support the company growth and strategy.
(10%) Performs Level 3 support for Advance Planning System Management Enterprise software. Updates documentation & practices and constantly looks for new ways to ‘Shift Left’ Advance Planning System IT support so lower cost models can be successful globally.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
Solution Architecture –
Development of architectures for sophisticated solutions, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external, and internal customers. Takes full responsibility for the balance between functional, service quality and systems management requirements within a significant area of the organisation. Establishes policy and strategy for the selection of solution architecture components, and co-ordinates design activities, promoting the team to ensure consistency. Ensures that appropriate standards (corporate, industry, national and international) are adhered to. Within a business change programme, handles the target design, policies and standards, working proactively to maintain a stable, viable architecture and ensure consistency of design across projects within the programme.
Location: Pune
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or information technology management.
Master’s degree – business management and/or information technology fields preferred.
Licenses/ Certifications:
KINAXIS certification
APICS or Supply Chain Certification
Experience: Will have held roles Advance Planning System Management, Planning & Operations Business Solution Architecture workspace for at least 5-8 years
Kinaxis Application support, configuration & Development
Experience in information systems, applications – including APS (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Network Planning, SIOP, Command & Control Center), and project management, preferably in regulated life science industry.
Management of multiple full implementation cycles of APS in a global environment required.
Experience working with cloud based methodologies and toolsets.
Experience with AGILE project methodology and practice.
