Job Description : Your field of responsibility
Java Developer responsible for Design and Delivery of the application components for Reference Data Distribution Services.
As an agile application developer, you will work closely with the existing team to learn the current application architecture, design and understand its functionalities and complexities
You will have to analyze the Product Requirements and resolve approach to implement program together with the Architects
You should develop application in the most efficient way ensuring performance and stability staying in sync with industry standards
You will have to coordinate with Tech Leads, BAs, and PM, QA, Platform and Production Support teams
You will have to coordinate with Teams across different geographies US, EMEA, APAC
You should be willing to learn new technology stack, when needed.

Your skills and experience
As a Senior JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for development of features from inception to live implementation comprising design, implementation and integration and testing of various Application components.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering with proven experience of at least minimum 3+ years of hands-on development with Java/J2EE applications
Must have strong development experience in building Enterprise Java/J2EE applications and in Spring Frameworks (Spring Boot/Spring MVC/Spring Security/Annotations/AOP/Hibernate etc.)
Proficient in core Java design patterns, MVC frameworks, Kafka and OOAD. Good exposure to Messaging Services and Frameworks (JMS, Active MQ etc.)
Proficient in REST/SOAP web services implementation. Good exposure to UI Technologies (Angular, REACT)
Oracle: Skilled at understanding & writing SQL statements; Procedures, Functions, Cursors etc.
Proven experience in methodologies like Agile/Scrum, Test Driven Development (Junit, Mockito), Micro Services and real passion for automating Integration Testing
Good implementation knowledge of version controls, continuous Integration, and continuous Testing toolsets such as Jira/Confluence/Stash/Jenkins
Hands on experience on Unix Shell Scripting
Nice to have:
Understanding of Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase, Apache Ignite, Phoenix
Understanding of NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB
