About Our Client
Banking organisation based in London.
Job Description
As a key member of the Finance Department, you will help produce current regulatory requirements and UK best practice, across daily internal reporting, monthly/quarterly and annual reporting, including regulatory reporting budgeting/forecasting and projects.
Duties include:
Assist with daily internal reporting, monthly/quarterly and annual reporting, including regulatory reporting, budgeting/forecasting and projects.
Daily Liquidity metrics
Liquidity predictors.
Daily Capital Adequacy metrics.
Ensure integrity of reporting with Treasury.
Support quarterly board reporting/pack and commentary
Ensure bank’s internal control system is in accordance with external audit/regulatory requirements and bank/group policies.
Assist with budgeting/forecasting.
Assist with projects and ad hoc support requests from CEO, and Group in relation to regulatory reporting.
The Successful Applicant
Graduate with a 2.1 or 1st class degree in Accounting and Finance or similar
Financial reporting experience e.g balance sheet reconciliations
Cashbook / Liquidity reporting
Financial Services / Banking sector experience desirable
Good Excel skills (pivot tables, v look ups)
Desire to achieve full qualification in ACCA or CIMA
