We are a Google Premier Partner and Meta Business Partner (formerly Facebook), looking to add a Junior Software Developer to our team with a background in Web Scraping, Automation, and Data Analysis, to support our Google, Meta (Facebook), and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) teams.POSITIONThe Software Developer is responsible for supporting the agency at large in the build, upkeep, and periodic upgrade of various software-based advertising systems. Your main task is to ensure the uninterrupted flow of data from various sources that feed inventory into these advertising systems.We currently run a Python-based crawling system that uses various techniques for crawling the web. Your job is to understand this system, understand its limitations, and work to make ongoing improvements to the success rate of the crawlers. Demonstrable experience with web-crawling systems and frameworks is a non-negotiable requirement of this position.The Junior Software Developer reports to the Digital Onboarding & Support Team Lead, and supports our Pay-Per-Click (PPC), Paid Social, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) teams. Previous experience with software integrated with Google, Meta (Facebook), and AWS preferred but not required.CANDIDATE PROFILETo be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must be an optimistic team player, enjoy solving complex problems, be able to clearly present a range of solutions, and deliver clean, error-free code, on time.
