Your Role and Responsibilities
What You will do :
The IBM AI Applications business unit is seeking talented and motivated Software Developers to work as Level 3 Support Engineers on the Maximo family of products. In this role you will closely collaborate with the broader support organization to trouble shoot customer reported issues, often creating and releasing code updates to resolve the problem. This role is not the initial point of contact for customer support and is brought in only if a code update is required or assistance is needed to recreate and/or better understand the nature of the issue. This is an exciting opportunity to learn at a low level how the industry leading Enterprise Asset Management suite of products works and to learn from a large team of very talented engineers.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Skills:
3+ years Customer facing experience including verbal and written communication and flexibility to accommodate customer’s needs
3 years+ Java and Python programming
3 years +JavaScript
JSP
SQL / NoSQL database technologies inclding Mongo, DB2 and Oracle
Web servers including IBM WebSphere and Oracle Weblogic
Git
Browser Developer tools
Experience with Kubernetes & Open Shift
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
XSS
Jira and Rational Team Concert (RTC)
Google Polymer
