Job Description : Applications are invited for a Research Technician position to join the group of Professor Julian Ma to work on a research trial studying immune responses to COVID vaccination. The project is based in the Hotung Molecular Immunology Unit in the Institute for Infection and Immunity, a large group comprising approximately 14 research scientists and students.

Applicants must have a BSc in a biomedical science discipline, with demonstrable aptitude in working in clean environments and routine immunological assays, including ELISA. Applicants will be enthusiastic about research and interacting with a team of clinical and academic researchers; well-organized with attention to detail; and be able to work independently in the laboratory following training. Project oversight will be from a postdoctoral research fellow and Professor Ma. This post would suit a biomedical scientist with an interest in immunology, translational research and relevant practical experience in either a research or clinical laboratory.
