Job Description : An L&D Academy Team Educator works collaboratively with others from the Elite EMS Learning & Development Academy and across all other departments to bring together a coordinated approach to developing the whole workforce.The role involves the delivery of regulated and non-regulated qualifications, programmes of study, learning support opportunities, including statutory & mandatory training to employees, apprentices, and others of Elite Emergency Medical Services (Elite EMS), in addition to the delivery of commercial training for Elite Specialist Services, meeting both quality assurance and legislative frameworks.The post holder will actively be involved with the organisation and facilitation of local & corporate induction training, upholding our organisational values, promoting equality and inclusion, with particular emphasis on safeguarding the welfare of learners and safeguarding the confidentiality of assessments across both development and delivery.The role will require responsibility for development, delivery and on-going maintenance to ensure all programmes are fit for purpose for the future workforce. The individual will work closely with the Head of Learning & Development in supporting the future strategies and identifying opportunities across Elite EMS.The post holder will also work collaboratively with Operational Team Educators to provide on-going support, mentorship, preceptorship and clinical supervision to the frontline workforce.Responsibility and AccountabilityProvides standardised expert knowledge (in collaboration with the Clinical Lead and other Academy Staff) for clinical education across the organisation.Provide clinical support and development opportunities for post-qualification/registrant staff where appropriate within the operational, L&D and clinical environments.Responsible for curriculum review, design and delivery, including teaching and assessing, across all sites.Responsible for high quality delivery of qualifications and programmes, always ensuring full compliance against both internal and external requirements.Support the cleanliness and effectiveness of Academy facilities, estate, and equipment.Represents Elite EMS and Elite Specialist Services at exhibitions or conferences relevant to areas of responsibility.Work collaboratively with others to implement and deliver on projects relevant to areas of responsibility.Supports change effectively within areas of responsibility.Adopts agreed ways of working to ensure that there is available evidence to support quality assurance processes and regulatory requirements e.g. CQC and Awarding Organisation.Makes recommendations to the Head of Learning & Development in relation to education, learning and development.Supports the delivery of the Elite EMS Learning & Development, Apprenticeship and Clinical Supervision Strategies.Supports the delivery of the Elite EMS Newly Qualified Paramedic Framework.Qualifications (Essential)Paramedic Science or approved legacy Paramedic qualification. The post holder must be currently occupationally competent.Foundation Degree, equivalent qualification/experience or higher.Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training, equivalent or higher.Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement, equivalent or higher (or actively working towards).Background & Experience (Essential)Good knowledge and experience of educational delivery, including expectations of an awarding organisation.Good knowledge of current ambulance qualifications and roles.Experience in using Technology Enhanced Learning platforms.Experience of developing programmes of study.Has the ability to develop new and maintain existing professional relationships.Ability to build positive working relationships and work well with colleagues and learners at all levels.Innovative, resilient with the ability to cope in pressured situations and tight deadlines.Track record of managing, fostering, and developing learners.Ability to travel across all sites to perform their duties.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionOn-site parkingSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (preferred)Experience:teaching: 1 year (preferred)
