Job Description

The Cloud Security Engineer assists in design and build cloud security solutions that will balance the need for speed and flexibility of cloud infrastructure and IaaS/PaaS/SaaS applications with the need to protect Allstate against ongoing and potential security threats. Cloud Security Engineer needs to have an aptitude to understand new security strategies and the tenacity to get the job done.

Job Responsibilities
Partner with other application teams that integrate with Hashicorp Vault.
Respond to any alerts and reports of Hashicorp Vault infrastructure issues.
Working on load performance tests on hashicorp vault.
Troubleshoot issues with Vault operations such as login and read or writing secrets
Experience in vault KV secrets versioning.
knowledge on prometheus and graphana tools
Troubleshoot issues with Vault operations in channels.
Knowledge on Vault Database secret engines, service tokens and batch tokens.
Know basic Linux commands where navigating SSH login on a Vault instance. and Maintain bash scripts for LDAP system account rotation.
Assist with Vault admin requests to update or delete roles, authentications, or namespaces
Teams that are building other API based products to integrate to Vault. Proviso, Managed-Vault, Passbot.
Upgrade Hashicorp Vault version quarterly.
Validate Vault infrastructure in AWS (EC2, Auto Scaling Groups, Security Groups, Load balancers, Target Groups, Route 53, WAF)
Help customers onboard to Vault via email support, Microsoft Teams support, and consultation calls and Team channels.
