The Role Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to wireframe, design & development of UI solutions
Collaborate with BA/UX team in common controls developments, prototyping
Improve code quality statistics, participate/drive code reviews and continuously reduce technical debt
Specifying the UI specific use cases
Study existing engineering processes and contribute to improvements to drive up efficiencies
Collaborate with teams globally to deliver, present ideas, and innovate
Model behaviours that facilitate Agile delivery
Exhibit passion for client experience with a user-first mindset
Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction
Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization
Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
Resolve conflicts and issues that occur
Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
Support the product owner and provide education where needed
Our Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidate proven 5+ years of delivering in world class engineering teams. Must be a confident self-starter with ability to collaborate and devise solutions. Relevant industry certifications are an added plus. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks is required.
Role Specific Technical Competencies
Banking Knowledge, CRM
Cloud Technology
Power App and Power BI
knowledge of user interface models, application design, and website functionality
In-depth knowledge on REST services and message formats like JSON/XML.
Karma, Jasmine, Selenium
Jenkins/Go-CD, Git/Stash, JIRA, Bitbucket, NodeJS.
Unit testing and code coverage.
Hands-on knowledge in application servers/containers like JBoss Fuse/WebSphere/Weblogic Expert
Hands-on knowledge in Oracle, SQL, and designing data model.
Oracle or SQL Server PL/SQL development
Knowledge of microservices architecture
Java / J2EE – strong knowledge of server side programming. Good understanding of basic concepts of collections, multithreading & OOPS concept
Good knowledge in application integration using Web Service (SOAP/REST) or Messaging using JMS Expert
Hands-on skills in J2EE specifications like JAX-RS, JAX-WS
Good to have experience in containerization technologies – Docker, Kubernetes, JBoss Fuse
Good knowledge in dependency injections like Spring DI/Blueprints and JSON libraries like Jackson/GSON
Hands-on experience on Linux/Unix environments
Understanding on tools like Jenkins/Go-CD, Git/Stash, JIRA, Maven, NodeJS
Understanding of continuous build concept and usage with maven, sonarqube or other related tools
