Responsible for pacing, closing and reporting of upgrades projects in EMEA region for Gas Power Services. Steer all financial activities to be performed in ERP. The role requires a strong accounting expertise, financial acumen and proven experience in financial pacing, closing and reporting. Support the project director, project managers and finance leaders.

Roles and Responsibilities
Pacing, closing and reporting of transactional upgrade projects in EMEA pole.
Bi-weekly pacing: Provide consolidated backlog inputs to country MFs and operations leaders within the pole / region.
Steer and participate in month and quarter close activities (prepare and post accruals) and reporting activities (DRs)
Steer revenue recognition related discussions with controllership team
Reconcile / review account reconciliation as needed
Steer quarterly project reviews and margin reviews as required, support MOR inputs and discussions
Improve project cost estimation, timely invoicing
Analyze aged WIP and drive project closures
Support STAT audits
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
At least 3-5 years of experience in Finance.
Experience in managing transactional project finance, reviews and closure of projects.
Prior working experience in Finance ERP, preferably in Oracle or SAP
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Steer initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Effective problem identification and solution skills.
Post graduate degree in accounting or MBA
Partly or fully qualified professional accountant – CA/CMA
