Job Description : The purpose of the role is to supervise an administrative team of secretaries and administrative clerks and to provide a comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently. Ensure the work of the administrative team is carried out in accordance with NHS Lanarkshire’s standard operating procedures.
The post holder must have supervisory experience.
The successful candidate must possess SVQ level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience) plus experience as a medical secretary.
The post holder should demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of medical terminology; evidence of effective team working and dealing with change; evidence of good communication skills with patients, clinicians and colleagues, and advanced audio typing skills
