Overview:
The Content & Communications Experience (CCX) group is responsible for the authoring and maintenance of world-class product knowledge information for Salesforce’s suite of products. From help topics to API references to Trailhead courses , over 400 CCX creators whip up the best content in the industry, and they need world-class technical infrastructure to match, in order to deliver hundreds of thousands of assets multiple times a year.

We’re looking for an experienced and highly technical writer based out of India. You’ll develop technical content for the CCX Technologies team in India and US . If troubleshooting builds, understanding system architecture, and deconstructing in-house content management technology excite you, this position might be for you. You’ll work collaboratively with the CCX Technologies leaders and engineers in India and the US to document our technology suite. You’ll also support the CCX writers to quickly find information they need to write, check-in, build, publish, and maintain their content.
Required Skills
Experience documenting highly technical system architectures
Experience effectively communicating highly technical concepts to non-technical people
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or an English degree
3+ years of experience with technical writing and editing developer-focused documentation for software development audiences
Strong collaboration skills to partner with stakeholders and customers to identify key customer scenarios and questions to prioritize content
Superb English writing and editing skills
Ability to work on multiple projects at once
Great people and communication skills
Focus on quality and details
Strong team player
Desired Skills
Experience creating expository content for content writers themselves, including both their tools and their processes (highly desired)
Experience w/ API frameworks, tools, & specifications, such as RAML and OpenAPI (highly desired)
Experience w/ SCM systems such as Perforce and Git / Github
Experience w/ cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
Experience with authoring in Confluence for internal audiences
