Role summary

Are you an Accountant looking for a new opportunity? If so, we’d love to hear from you! We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated self-starter to join the Finance Team in Newmarket to manage the accounts for both Jockey Club Estates and The National Stud. You will work with the small but busy team, based at The Jockey Club Rooms in the heart of Newmarket.
This role will see the successful candidate produce reliable and timely management information to assist the senior leadership teams of both Jockey Club Estates and The National Stud, as well as providing accurate analysis of the data produced.
The successful candidate will;
Possess a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
have experience in the production of monthly management accounts
be experienced in both budgeting and forecasting
be able to complete balance sheet reconciliations
have an advanced working knowledge of MS Excel
possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with people at all levels
be enthusiastic, proactive and hard working
be able to work with multiple stakeholders and prioritise own workload
have excellent attention to detail and high standards
be flexible and adaptable in your approach

It would be advantageous to have experience of Great Plains, Net Suite or Proactis Finance system.
