Job Description : As a Management Accountant you will be part of a team responsible for delivering the management accounts of each of the Millbrook Healthcare Group companies, the day to day operations of the Millbrook Healthcare account and Supporting the Management Accounts Team Leader in maintaining and developing high quality reporting processes consistently across each group company.

Millbrook Healthcare Group is a fast growing business and leading provider of Healthcare Service solutions including Wheelchair and Community Equipment Services. We work closely with the NHS and Social Care Organisations providing a complete outsourced service that significantly reduces costs, delivers better quality and an enhanced service user experience.

What are we looking for in a Management Accounts Team Leader?

Previous experience within an Accounts environment
You must be CCAB qualified (ACA, ACCA, ACMA)
Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Experience of using Excel to at least intermediate level is essential
Competent and comfortable with key accounting concepts
The ability to analyse and to explore beyond the basic numbers in order to truly understand the cost drivers and to identify opportunities for improved efficiency
The ability to interrogate accounting systems and develop processes
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about your work
Flexible in your approach with a “can do” attitude
Ability to work to and meet deadlines

What will this role involve?

Creating and posting journals for Millbrook Healthcare group companies
Review and production of management reporting
Liaising with the operational management teams to understand variances and provide timely commentary and analysis on the monthly results
Balance sheet reconciliations
Preparing sales invoicing
Work alongside the Management Accounts Team Leader to create, develop and sustain the management information and reporting of KPI’s
Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and in-year forecasts
Assistance with year-end statutory reporting and auditor liaison
Ad-hoc analysis and project work
