Job Description : Management Accountant Permanent – Monday to Friday – Salary up to £40,000 DOEManagement Accountant to join our Head Office team working in our hugely successful Panelco brand which has a turnover in excess of £70m.Permanent position working Monday to Friday· 37.5 hours per week· Bank holidays off and extended Christmas break· Generous holidays and benefits including PerkboxThe Role: · Preparation of month end management accounts including analysis of variances to budget and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.· Preparation of reports for Board members.· Preparation of annual budgets and development of robust forecasts for profit and loss, balance sheets and cashflow.· Assist in the preparation of financial statements, year end process and liaison with auditors.· Tight management of working capital and processing of payments.· Suggest and implement improvements to systems, processes and reporting.· Calculation and management of supplier and customer rebate schemes.· Preparation of returns for HMRC including VAT and reconciling PVA Statements to records.Experience and Qualifications: · Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 3 years post qualification experience or qualified by experience in logistics, distribution or wholesale sectors.· Exceptional IT skills including advanced Excel.· High levels of attention to detail and analytical skills.· Ability to plan and organise time to meet deadlines.· Good working knowledge of company tax requirements.About Us: Fast paced Group of distribution companies, our exceptional levels of customer service and stock holding make us a supplier of choice to our customers and a market leader.The Head Office team supports all three of our businesses and looks to make improvements whilst driving consistency across the Group.To apply please forward your cv and salary aspirations quoting job reference ST/MA/89.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Up to £40,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company eventsCompany pensionOn-site parkingStore discountsWellness programmesSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayNo weekendsCOVID-19 considerations:Large socially distanced offices, additional cleaning and sanitisation.Ability to commute/relocate:Stoke-on-Trent, ST11 9LW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)Application question(s):Do you hold ACA, ACCA or CIMAEducation:A-Level or equivalent (preferred)Experience:accounting: 3 years (required)Reference ID: ST/MA/89
