About the Role
Networks data platforms and data as service capability delivery across data platforms (on & off premise) and tooling for data, BI, analytics & AI/ML Ops platform for Optus Networks aligned with enterprise architecture and group data office. You will be joining a team with a fantastic culture, where an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset is openly celebrated and supported. This role is critical to the success of Networks Data Analytics & Data Governance portfolio in Networks.
Key Responsibilities include:
Develop and deliver the data and analytics platform capabilities delivery roadmap for Optus Networks leveraging industry standard patterns with the aim of deriving analytics from massive volumes of Networks data
Develop & deliver Optus Networks Big Data, data management & data self serve architecture, guidelines and roadmap with stakeholders
Drive, lead and align new capabilities and solution builds in the area of Data Warehouse, Big Data, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Data Integration, Data Pipelines & AI/ML required to deliver use cases like but not limited to Network & service orchestration, autonomous network domains, capacity planning and customer experience management
Build and maintain strong relationship and influence with business leadership in Networks, other IT Domains and IT service providers to deliver business value via data
Design and build comprehensive Data Ingestion and analytics solutions for the Big Data Platform
Design and build reusable frameworks and pilots for enriching batch and real-time ingestion & transformation patterns
About You
We are looking for the following skills, attributes and experience
Successfully implemented large-scale data warehouse / data lake solutions involving data ingestion (real time and batch code), stitching, data collection and processing including curation
Expert in building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines
Experience in data management, data architecture and design
Strong technical knowledge of data integrations, ETL and data warehouse data modelling; BI reporting tools and SQL
Good understanding of Telco data models; cost estimation and working with external vendors; DevOps tools and environment; Building an enterprise level data analytics capability and leading complex, major change initiatives; skills in change management
