Job Description:
Reporting to the App Development Director, you are responsible for full suite of new application software/website development that covers both front end and back end.
Participate in the development/implementation of high quality, innovative and sustainable software over the full life cycle of Software Development
Design, develop, deploy and maintain services, systems and applications
Conceive and implement new features and solve interesting and challenging problems together with the team
Continually improve code quality, performance and reliability
Employ agile development methodology and best practices
Understand and evaluate new industry trends in mobile technologies (Andriod & iOS), and implement them into our applications
Who are we looking for
Experience in native mobile application development in either iOS or Android.
Experience in mobile application development with React Native
Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Computer Engineering or its equivalent
Proficiency in Xcode, Kotlin, and Java or Xamarin
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Knowledge of cloud ecosystems example Azure or AWS will be an advantage.
Strong analytical and statistical skills
Good communications and vendor management skills; proactive, problem-solving and willing to learn new technologies
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
