Job Details:
As part of a team of software engineers, the Mobile Support Lead conceptualize, designs, codes, debugs and performs development activities in accordance with designated standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities: ·
Experience building high-quality applications by creating a well-designed architecture, writing clean code and implementing common industry practices (e.g. continuous integration, unit tests).
Triage issues and working with Internal and external teams to work on resolutions
Familiarity with Service Management processes
On call support to internal teams and external teams and 3rd parties
Ensure engineering solutions are delivered to budget, schedule and agreed scope
Collaborate with customers, engineers, operations and other stakeholders to come up with solutions, and to drive permanent and interim solutions
Participate and lead technical presentations, discussions and workshops with customers
Analyze and capture user requirements and provide input to engineering teams
Provide engineering and technical review of Code / Technical documents and work products
Work directly with Lead Systems Engineers, Project Managers, Third Party Suppliers and Customers
Assist with enhancement and management of SharePoint, Confluence, Jira and Mobile Analytics Tools (Firebase, Google analytics)
Participate in process and technology improvement initiatives
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Technology (B Tech) or Masters in Computer Application (MCA) or related field with minimum 8+ years’ experience
About You:
8+ years of relevant software development/support experience with Android or iOS mobile platforms.
3+ years of experience in leading a technical team deals with application design and development,
Skills in Android native app development (Android SDK, Android Studio) / iOS native app development ( Objective-C/Swift, XCODE IDE) and React Native technologies
Experience in developing cross platform mobile application is preferred
Good knowledge of RESTful services is preferred
Good knowledge of Object Oriented Design concepts and design principles is preferred
Prior experience in product development & delivery and Application support is preferred
Ability to learn new technologies like NFC, Bluetooth, Payment solutions, BLE etc.
Experience working with source controls like SVN, GIT, Bitbucket etc.
Experience in Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices is preferred
