The Role:
ORS are seeking an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our Lane Cove office in the position of Team Leader.
ORS employs a team of over 60 Occupational Therapists nationally and a total multi-disciplinary workforce of 500 staff. We support people with various diagnoses and disability types across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, community, and/or ORS offices.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting a team of Occupational Therapists with day to day service delivery and clinical guidance, answering questions and assisting with strategies on complex cases
Delivering training, induction and supervision as required
Completing quality assurance report reviews and feedback
Attending appointments with Occupational Therapists, to provide support and training
Completing high-quality clinical services and assessments as required in complex cases
Developing exceptionally well-written reports and management plans that incorporate useful and cutting edge strategies and interventions
A few requirements:
An Occupational Therapy degree and AHPRA registration
A car and licence
Clinical experience, preferably within the NDIS or similar
Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability and other complex diagnoses
Leadership experience (desirable)
A National Police Clearance and Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
