Job Description : Ab Initio & PLSQL Developer with strong analytical and technical ability with 6- 10 years’ experience in
Ab Initio GDE 3.X and Co>op 3 and Oracle PLSQL, performance improvements/optimization and hand-on Oracle 19c.
Good to have knowledge on No-SQL(MongoDB/Hadoop).
Able to work independently, good communication skills. Has experience in working on complex and medium to large projects.Experience is executing and writing Unix shell scripts.Expertise in creating graph for both batch and continuous flow.Should have hands on experience on metaprogramming.Experiencing in parallel processing and partitioning concepts.Hands on experience in SQL tuning / Re-writing SQL in better way.Identify performance bottlenecks in PL/SQL procedure and eliminate by alternative implementations.Must be comfortable in creating and maintaining complex PL/SQL packages , database objects such as procedures , functions , triggers etc.
Responsibilities:
Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging
Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions
Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents
Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
6-10 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
The position is based in Pune, India and is required to review the day to day delivery work, ensuring a robust process implementation, identifying project/program delivery risks and work on risk mitigation. Will work with the global stake holders (business and technology) across multiple locations.Candidate will work independently and is highly self-motivated.Applies skills and knowledge of the business to develop creative solutions to meet client and business needsThe candidate will work with complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, weighing various alternatives and providing recommendations.Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sourcesResponsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities.Requirement gathering & understanding, effort estimation, technical design, project planning and monitoring.Consults with users, clients and other technology groups on issues and recommends solutionsAccountable for all phases of development process—analysis, design, construction, testing and implementation; provides user and operational support on applications to business users.Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks.Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during project delivery.
