CORE BUSINESS OPERATIONS
Core Business Operations (CBO) is an integrated set of offerings that addresses our clients’ core business issues. CBO provides a gamut of consulting services spanning advisory, implementation and operations. CBO practitioners help our clients transform, modernize, and run their existing technology platforms right from process design to implementation and finally ensuring roll-out transition.
TECHNICAL MANAGER
As a Pega Technical Manager at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for development and deployment of BPM – Pega solutions as part of large-scale complex software solutions at enterprise level. These application solutions are often critical layers of enterprise integration architecture and would provide you an exposure of integration architecture. You will be responsible for independently lead the team and mentor junior team members, collaborating team across shores to understand the functional requirements and translate them into work products. You will be involved in end-to-end delivery of the project from estimations, planning and execution. You would also be responsible for tracking status and collecting metrics for analysis.
Work you’ll do Work collaboratively with clients, establishing a business-driven vision for the future of their IT systems, processes and infrastructure through the application of leading practices and improving their capabilities Create IT strategies and architecture roadmaps, including well-articulated views of transition stages toward the final goal Understand the full architecture stack, including network, data, application, system, security & integration architectures Create artefacts at appropriate levels of detail to be able to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences Define and document key design decisions based on objectives of the engagement
Develop solutions by following established technical design, Pega standards and quality processes in projects governing against industry good practice, IT standards, and client technical policy.
Manage project execution by defining the work-breakdown structure in accordance with the master project plan and track the progress.
Establish technical design / development guidelines, templates and standards and ensure that the team follows them.
Perform detailed reviews on deliverables. Provide technical guidance to the team members.
Interact with onsite clients, coordinator / scrum master, analyst and offshore development, support team and other cross-functional teams.

The team
CBO practitioners work on design, delivery and support of a variety of solutions that help our clients meet business objectives. These solutions range from large scale ground-up custom developed applications, to cloud based development and integration services as well as customizing industry sector focused packages. As BPM services capability hire on this team, you would get opportunities to work on different aspects of the BPM tools such as PEGASUS for various transformations on case management, designing flows, implement business requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
B.E. / B.Tech / M.C.A. / M.Sc. (CS)
Prior Experience:
10-15 years of IT experience with at least 10 years of hands-on technical experience on Pega Projects for various domains such as Healthcare, Insurance, Banking etc., using versions 7.x and above
Skills / Project Experience – required:
Experience on implementation of various connectors and services, listeners, schedulers in PEGA
Strong experience on various database tools
Experience in Build/Deployment strategies such as using deployment wizard, dev-ops, CI-CD as an added advantage
Hands on experience in developing re-usable components, other tools such as SMA, Admin Studio, PLA, PDC etc.,
Ability to communicate clearly across teams in the project and having excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating architecture and design principles. Configuring end to end Pega applications and deploying them on various application servers such as AWS, Tomcat etc., Strong experience of building application design and architecture, class structure, roles configuration, process rules, reusable application components, designing end to end application life cycle etc., Experience to propose application architectural designs/patterns, guidelines, and best practices. Strong experience of Agile and Scrum Software Development Methodologies.
Skills / Project Experience – good to have:
Industry recognized Technology Certifications (Must have CSA, CSSA; Good to have LSA).
Knowledge on other technology driven tools, languages etc.,
Extensive experience on Agile/Scrum based delivery.
Experience of working at Client/Onsite.
