Job Description : This is a fixed term temporary position until the end of the academic year (21st August 2022)We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Personal Care Assistant on a temporary basis at Sherard Primary school for 20 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, (10:30am – 2:30pm) term-time only (38 weeks).We are all focused on doing what is right for our children and pride ourselves on being highly inclusive. We nurture our children and staff to ensure everyone can grow and succeed.The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting pupils with their personal care needs. You will work with a number of children with a range of special educational needs e.g., communication difficulties, Autism, ADHD and behaviour difficulties, to support with implementing personal care and toileting programmes throughout the school day. As well as supporting children with their personal care the role includes providing first aid for both mainstream and the specialist provision at playtime and lunchtime.About the Mowbray Education TrustThe Mowbray Education Trust (MET) is a multi-academy trust currently educating around 2,500 children from the age of 2 to 16 in the town of Melton Mowbray and surrounding villages in the Borough of Melton.
