The IOG Intel Optane Group is Intel DPGs memory center of excellence, aims in-depth understanding of our customers use cases, workloads and applications/datacentric problems and solve them by rearchitecting the memory storage hierarchy around Intel Optane persistent memory 3DXPAs part of the Intel IOG, you will contribute to conceptualize, create, debug and develop solutions for complex Memory/platform/Firmware/BIOS problems engaging with partner teams across application, engineering, platform validation and silicon engineering. You will bring your broad system level computer organization, specifically memory subsystem feature/flows understanding to deliver cutting edge memory products to market.
Qualifications

– 4+ years of experience in system software development, CPU/SoC/instruction set architecture, device firmware development, post-Silicon debug/development/validation, performance evaluation and benchmarking of storage/memory subsystems – Hands on system software development expertise using C/C++ in multicore/multithreaded environments, exposure to debug and profiling tools, exposure to server platform bios, OS services, device drivers and libraries will be helpful – Candidate must possess a Master’s or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum Requirements: – Server/Platform Architecture knowledge – Server Memory/Persistent Memory Architecture/PCIe based storage systems – Knowledge of Pre-silicon or Post-silicon Validation techniques – Strong SoC/FW debugging skills – Experience in Emulation/FPGA/Virtual Platforms – Strong programming skills (Python/C) – Strong Communication and good Problem Solving Skills Preferred Skills: – Familiar with pre-Silicon prototyping tools, flows and methodologies – Familiar with pre-silicon model development using various emulation/simulation tools – Prior experience with Intel Platform/Servers, PCH, BIOS – Prior experience with system level solutions and workloads – Prior experience with SSD/NAND memory – BIOS/FW development experience – PCIe/CXL architecture knowledge – Performance models, workload estimation, understanding of statistical methods to extrapolate performance metrics is preferred
