Job Description : For Postgres database DBA:Qualification Job Description(a) Engineer should have valid Certificate on Postgres database administration on any Linux based OS and issued by the Certification Provider or their authorized training center. Responsible for the monitoring and uptime of all production/Development/UAT databases and also worked in Postgres Enterprise Manager (PEM)(b) B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech. in Electronics/CS/IT or MCA With minimum 2 year experience in Maintenance / Support on Postgres database in Linux environment. Certified with PostgreSQL Associate Certification or Equivalent provided by leading certification authority Estimate PostgreSQL database capacities; develop methods for monitoring database capacity and usage.(c) Diploma in Electronics/CS/IT With 3 years minimum experience in Maintenance / Support on Postgres database in Linux environment. Certified with PostgreSQL Associate Certification or Equivalent provided by leading certification authority Develop Stored Procedures and Database Triggers in support of application development.Participate in application development projects and will be responsible for the database architecture and design.Participate in the creation of development, staging, and production database instances, and the migration from one environment to another Responsible for developer SQL code review to ensure queries are optimized and tuned to perform efficiently prior to production release.Responsible for regular backups and recovery of databases. Responsible for regular maintenance on databases (e.g., Vacuum, Reindexing, 2rArchiving).Responsible for pro‐active remediation of database operational problems. Responsible for Query tuning and preventative maintenance.Experience with postgres version 9.x, 10.x , 12.x,13.x Ability to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve live database systems issues Anticipate and handle critical situations database issues Knowledge of disaster recovery principles and practices, including planning, testing, backup/restore Experience in replication, Load balancing, connection pooling using pg‐pool and Pgbouncer Experience with Enterprise DB tools like PEM, BART, EFM and some open source tools like Pgbackrest, Barman, Pgbadger etc.Knowledge of PostgreSQL replication(hot,cold,warm), cascading, Shared clustering (active, passive).Ability to implement automation to reduce manual administrative tasks through use of jobs, scripts, cron or other techniques Expert level of PostgreSQL RDBMS installation/configuration, patching, upgradation, troubleshooting on Linux environment Strong commitment to following SDLC/Change management principles.Self‐starter and be able to perform work with minimal supervisory direction.Knowledge of data quality, data management and data testing strategies and practicesJob Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentPay: ₹20,000.00 – ₹40,000.00 per monthSchedule:Rotational shiftExperience:total work: 3 years (Preferred)Speak with the employer+91-XXXXXXXXXX
