Job Description : The Fusion Middleware Sustaining Engineering team delivers updates, enhancements, and support to much of the top Fortune 500 companies across the world. As part of our organization, we are looking to improve our delivery model and expand our team’s ability to service our customers. This position is focused on working with the Intelligence & TPM Engineering team to democratize data and automate critical workflows enabling product teams across all of Oracle to track their critical requirements to stay secure and protect Oracle’s reputation with customers.

Job Requirements:
5+ years of demonstrable ETL experience effectively pulling data from source systems to a data warehouse
5+ years SQL experience developing complex and efficient queries
5+ years of scripting experience, preferably PL/SQL or Python
5+ years basic DBA experience, preferably Oracle
5+ years engineering experience developing across the entire software lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, execution, and support
Preferred Requirements:
5+ years of designing, testing, and debugging PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, views, triggers.
Demonstrable experience working with and/or creating RESTful APIs.
Demonstrable experience using Git or equivalent for version control.
Demonstrable experience using Jenkins for release pipeline.
Demonstrable experience with Safe Agile methodology.
Demonstrable experience with JIRA.

This role involves designing and implementing effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will:
assist in defining and developing datastores for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems.
Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
Provide technical leadership to other members of the team.
Specify, design, and implement changes to existing data architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Successful applicant must be fully competent in own area of expertise. A BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area is required along with at least 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
