Responsibilities:

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will work closely on our SIEM product built on Big data tech stack Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Solr etc. Your primary responsibilities will be to:

Design, develop, maintain and upgrade Securonix’s SIEM product.
Debug real-time customer issues and solve them.
Work closely with product management and build new features and necessary improvements to the product.
Improve the performance of the product from time to time with high focus on NFRs.
Mentor and train other developers.
Research and implement new technologies and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Full stack developer or similar role for 10+ years
Expertise with one or more modern Object-Oriented Programming languages like Java, Python.
Expertise in product development using Spring, Hibernate, Microservices.
Expertise in core Javascript as well as modern UI frameworks like Angular/ ReactJS
Hands-on experience with RDBMS and No-SQL based databases like Solr, MongoDB, Redis.
Experience with Unit testing frameworks such as Junit, Mockito, Jasmine, MochaJS etc.
Experience with CI/CD (Gitlab, Jenkins)
Hands-on experience on cloud platforms like AWS.
Experience on Docker, Kubernetes will be a great advantage.
Knowledge on Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Solr etc will be good to have.
