We provide authoritative, up-to-the-minute sector intelligence, tools, services and resources that give leaders the knowledge to act.*The role*We are looking for a Product Designer to join our Development team. As a product designer you will be getting close to users, crafting amazing user experiences and bringing them to life across all of The Key’s products and services, positively impacting the work of hundreds of thousands of school leaders.You will:Solve real world problems in the education sector, across all of our products and services.Take ownership of your designs. From low-fidelity prototypes to the nitty-gritty details, you’ll be the one in the driving seat, taking the initiative, consulting with others, making decisions and pushing our products’ designs forwards.Communicate clearly and effectively and work closely with colleagues, both within the design team and across the wider business.Contribute to the development of our design system and processes.The ideal personYou will:Have 3+ years of experience in Product Design (UX/UI) roles, with a strong portfolio.Have a passion for creating beautifully designed solutions that simplify complexity and help to create products that are a delight to use.Have a strong grasp of design fundamentals, principles, heuristics and analytics tools.Have a love of writing – design is as much about the words on the page as it is about stunning visuals.Have collaboration in your bones. We work with a lot of different, talented and fascinating people, be they customers or colleagues.Possess conscientiousness. You’re excellent at organising yourself and coordinating projects involving multiple people, both locally and remotely.Have experience working with Software Engineers to ensure the delivery of delightful, well designed solutions that achieve desired outcomes.Have attention to detail.
