Job Description : We are looking for a multi-faceted Product Manager for our Client to build its B2C insurance platform.
This person will help us to achieve our vision of turning insurance into an easy and exciting consumer experience, via our mobile application platform. They will take a lead role in developing our IT infrastructure and design, connect us to partners and support product development.
They are a small, dynamic team, so this person’s contributions will have a direct impact on the success of our business plan from day one. As such, we are looking for a forward-thinking, well organized, driven individual who is keen to take on responsibility and work closely with the business units to deliver abest-in-class platform experience for our users.
You will be part of an international team and work in collaboration with outsourced IT professionals. They are a Singapore-based insurance-Tech start-up that is launching its first product in Singapore in 1Q2022. They are Passionate about making insurance as easy, transparent, and intuitive as using a ubiquitous banking app. To do that, we de compartmentalize existing insurance products, organise them along a user’s lifestyle choices and offer them a front-to end digital experience via our app.
Requirements
Characteristics and Skillset
Degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
3+ years of development experience in building transactional B2C applications
Experience in data modelling and payment integration
• Familiarity with Agile methodology (e.g. user stories, sprint planning) • Effective application of UML (e.g. use cases, activity/state/sequence diagrams) • Working knowledge of big data concepts • Exposure to A/B testing
• Self-reliant and comfortable in running larger projects independently • Desirable soft-skills (e.g. emotional intelligence) to work effectively with outsourced, geographically-dispersed engineers and development teams •
