Job Overview
We are seeking an NPM Professional Services Engineer (PSE) to deliver the technical aspects of product deployments for NICE Systems’ customers. This is a technical consulting role which involves working with the project team from the sales to services transition through the implementation phases to the completion of the test plan and closure of the project.. The NICE Performance Management products focus on improving the productivity, effectiveness, and other operational aspects of our customers’ employees and teams. Our products allow companies to integrate valuable but disparate data from existing software applications, automate reporting, and boost employee morale by setting clear goals and monitoring their progress- all of which increase company productivity. Our web-based application is unique in its use of hybrid OLTP/OLAP data structures and sophisticated end-user applications.

Responsibilities:
Installation and integration of NICE software solutions, while following defined methodology, processes, system requirements and customer specific needs.
Integrate NICE’s applications with other enterprise systems and data sources using ETL, XML, and scripting languages
Work closely with customer and NICE Services Delivery team on all technical aspects of a NICE deployment, including but not limited to – data mapping, form and workflow design and implementation, report design and implementation.
Ensure that all components of the technical architecture are properly integrated and implemented.
Ability to remotely implement Nice solutions efficiently with quality and care from a home office environment.
Provide technical support and technical quality control throughout all stages of the project.
Provide advanced expertise in Nice Systems NPM and Back Office solutions
Report issues found during implementation and engage support teams for assistance as well as escalate to higher tiers and management as appropriate.
Communication with R&D about customer technical feedback on implementation of product related enhancements and fixes.
Document and communicate issue resolution and lessons learned.
Document and add Symptoms and Resolutions to the Nice Knowledge Base.
The PSE is expected to manage the customer relationship and expectations, communicate effectively, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
The PSE must maintain technical ownership of the project from start to finish.
Effectively manage time and maintain regular communication and updates to both customer and management.
Work with other NICE Integration Engineers to share best practices and knowledge
Provide input to NICE’s Product Management group on how to enhance future products
Required Skills/Experience:
Excellent technical and analytical skills
Basic knowledge of data handling and SQL with ability to acquire advanced skills in future?
Integration experience with enterprise software
Excellent organizational skills, ability to set own task lists and time lines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team
Demonstrated interest and ability to communicate across technology and business boundaries
Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent)
Willingness to travel up to 10%

Valuable skills:
Linux, Windows 2000/3
XML, Java, JSP, HTML, Perl
Oracle, SQL Server, DB2
Experience as a DBA, System Administrator, or Network Administrator
Experience implementing and managing data warehouses
Experience with Hadoop or other Big Data platforms
Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, SAS)
Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g. Informatica, Brio).
