What you’ll do:Guide the team/squad on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and valuesGuide the team to be able to self organize through the agile and scrum frameworkCoach the team on higher levels of agile and scrum maturity by fostering an improvement mindset with all team membersRemove impediments/roadblocks or guide the team to remove the impedimentsFacilitate getting the work done without coercion, assignment or dictatingFacilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolutionAlign Scrum practices with other EIG organization practices where teams are collaboratingBuild a productive team environment where collaboration and group problem solving is encouragedAssist internal and external communication, improve transparency, and propagate information through the organizationSupport and educate the product owner, with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlogManage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of businessFull project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneouslyManage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectivesReport on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activitiesWork creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellenceParticipate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
Who you are:A passion for providing world class service to internal and external customersScrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, PMI-ACP) and broad understanding of agile methods including KanbanBE/B.tech in Computer ScienceStrong communications skillsA keen ability to work effectively at the intersection of business and technologyExperience in technology projects to completion while guiding teams through the challenges in a rapid growth-oriented environmentExperience playing the Scrum Master role for a minimum of two years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theoryExperience helping teams improve their performance to a high level of self sufficiencyGood hands-on knowledge on implementing agile , kanban, scrum methodologiesGood skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
