Job Description : The Opportunity
The QA Engineer is responsible for defining & executing the testing of the cloud platform and various components of Adani Industry Cloud – such infrastructure, cyber-security, data, analytics, and applications. The QA Engineer works in close coordination with all stakeholder to ensure timely release of the software with full quality. Ultimately, the QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the quality of Adani Industry Cloud and various applications running on the platform is world class and delights the users.
Responsibilities
Strategic:
Keep abreast of latest developments in testing automation and implement the same as part of DevOps with goal to minimize time spent on testing while improving quality Operational ResponsibilitiesAct as a SPOC for all testing activities assignedDesign test cases, review with peers, execute test and report defectsIdentify good quality defects as per the requirementPublish results and receive appropriate signoff. Prepare detailed status reports, and monitoring of all defects and issues.Communicate progress and issues through regular Status Reports Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with Business / Application teams to improve testing engagements
Qualifications
Ideally, you should have
4+ years of relevant experience in Testing
Expertise in manual and automation testing
Good hands on experience in Test case design, understanding the BRD/requirements and translating into creative test case scenarios
Expertise in Performance testing tools using Jmeter
Worked with any of the Test Automation Frameworks – Selenium / QTP / etc
Experience in web service automation using SOAP UI and API testing tools using Postman / RESTAssured etc.
Experience with Test & Task Management tools like JIRA, TestLinks etc
Experience with Agile, BDD and Gherkin plus (Cucumber tool) strong testing concepts
Have experience on Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT)
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or any such cloud platforms
Experience in database testing, ETL Big Data, Hadoop and SQL scripting skills. Good to have Neo4j, TimescaleDB or TSDB, GraphDB and Cypher query knowledge
Exposure to BI – Looker tool or similar tool used for BI reporting
Experience in agile methodologies and project life cycles, from requirements gathering to testing to delivery
Great communication (verbal/written) skills
Collaboration mind-set and be Team Player and Problem solver
Strong problem-solving skills and very good time management skills
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal to manage stakeholders
BCA, BE/ B Tech (CS), M Tech (CS), MCA or equivalent degree.
Relevant certificates like ISTQB, CSTE
