Core Responsibilities
We are looking for a Regional Digital Marketing manager who believes in the values, creativity, FUN & benefits the LEGO Group brings to children and families, and strives to get more LEGO bricks into the hands of families in Asia Pacific.
The Regional Marketing role is a high-impact marketing to key consumer segments to drive engagement with the LEGO brand and franchises.
Functional Responsibilities:
Scale and augment the LEGO Group’s owned digital media platforms for Kids and Adults/Shoppers (LEGO.com, LEGO apps, LEGO channels on YouTube etc), collaborating with internal development teams, media agency partners, and marketing teams in our markets.
Lead partnerships with key digital platforms (e.g. Google, Apple) to ensure YoY value growth
Collaborate with regional and local partners to ensure governance to global digital media strategies, best practices & guidelines
Drive the ongoing development and optimization of digital performance dashboards and ensure adequate performance tracking and reporting of campaigns.
Drive ongoing collection and dissemination of insights and trends in digital marketing and content (consumer and shopper) to build digital acumen and capability across APAC and regular connections with the APAC Digital Network.
Audience Segment / Franchise Responsibilities:
Work alongside colleagues in regional Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing and eCommerce to develop/adapt regional marketing communication strategies for consumers and shoppers in the APAC, with a strong focus on digital
Work with Brand Marketing and agency partners to guide content decisions (development, distribution and promotion), with the aim of amplifying global toolkit and enhancing global assets’ utilization.

APAC Regional Marketing & the eCommerce Centre of Excellence (eCOE) is responsible for growing the brand and increasing our portfolio penetration across Asia Pacific.
Our specific focus include:
Building the LEGO Master brand and franchise brands (LEGO City, Ninjago, LEGO friends, LEGO Duplo to name a few) amongst boys, girls, parents and adults in Asia Pacific markets;
Recruitment of new kids and adults to play, engage and love LEGO products and the values of the Brand – creativity, imagination, learning, fun, caring and quality;
Partnering our 6 business units of Japan, Korea, Australia/New Zealand, South East Asia, Hong Kong/Taiwan and India to understand consumer and shoppers so that we are able to develop relevant communications and value propositions to engage kids and grow market share with the LEGO Brand and franchises
The APAC Regional Marketing & eCOE team consists of Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Trade Marketing, eCommerce, Media Management and Marketing Planning & Effectiveness teams.
Do you have what it takes?
Minimum 5 years Digital Marketing experience in Retail/Luxury/FMCG categories, preferably half of which in a regional/global marketing capacity.
Strong functional knowledge in paid digital media. Individuals with a media agency experience will be considered.
Individuals with broader experience in Paid, Owned and Earned media (search, programmatic, performance marketing, analytics, site builds and content, social media, influencer engagement etc), inclusive of prior experience in driving regional media strategy development and support markets in local media plans would have an advantage
Understanding eCommerce and/or Prior Brand & portfolio management, communications and media planning & marketing experience towards children, and their parents would be a plus
Passion for and genuine curiosity for innovation that is happening in the Digital / e-Commerce space
Independent, CREATIVE, energetic and willing to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial atmosphere.
Data-driven with a strong sense of accountability are key.
Adaptable to ambiguity, changes and be at the forefront to lead change in both actions and behavior.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a culturally-diverse team environment, and understanding what it means to achieve success with others and through others.
Preference for prior experience in managing and influencing a network of local senior managers and managers in a cross functional team
