Responsible for Proposal/Offer making Activity for MV & LV Retrofit Solutions, MV & LV Panel Modification, Upgradation, Uprating, Revamp & Refurbishment requirements within MV/LV Service Portfolio.
Study Customer Inquiries / Tender Documents, Prepare Scope of Supply, Technical Specification Document, List of Clarifications, Deviation sheets if any.
Get the Pre Offer Inputs in prescribed format, collect photos & various dimensions from Customer. If vital visit site & Measure dimensions from Site personally by taking all SAFETY precautions.
Do the feasibility study based on received inputs from Sales, Customer Etc. Conclude the best fit efficient retrofit solution matching with Customer requirement.
Discuss & advise important points with Engineering Team & schedule development of New retrofit solutions.
Need a very Good knowledge of Fabrication, Machining & Insulated Molding Components. Able to read mechanical drawings accurately. Able to calculate Weight & Cost of each item for quick estimation.
Need a very good knowledge of IEC Standards, Type Test Requirements, GTP, & fulfillment of technical specifications specifically for MV & LV Circuit Breaker & Panels.
Publish Flyers, Catalogue for newly made retrofit solutions & announce to all Sales Community for better visibility.
Keep a close track & monitoring of available retrofit solutions & keep it upgraded with Newly available range of Breakers from Local Factory.
Float all RFQ to the Suppliers, Purchase / SCM Team & get the backup costings from concern stakeholders / Suppliers.
Prepare Costing Sheet & make sure accurate negotiation from all the customers. Ensure Costing will be prepared in line with Inquiry / Tender Estimations.
Align discussions with Sales Colleagues, Regional Promoters, Service Engineers & arrange to get the details required for offer making activities.
Align discussion with Management showing Synopsis of the Inquiry & explain the overall Inquiry & Cost Position. Get the approval on Costing/Pricing Sheet before offer submission to the Region.
Prepare Own Database / documentation as mentioned in Tender Documents and submit along with the price offer.
Ability to Read & Understand SLD, MV / LV Panel Schemes for Incomers, Bus coupler & Other Trafo / Outgoing Feeders. Basic knowledge of Relays, protections & different type of Feeders in MV / LV switchboards.
Visit Sites to understand Modification requirements within MV & LV Panels. Able to demonstrate prior experience of Siemens in front of Customer towards Service Activities.
Able to Propose an efficient solutions to the Customer. Demonstrate a good bundled Solution keeping Value Chain in mind.
Handing over of all received Orders to the Execution Team accurately doing Kick off Meeting along with the Documentations like pre offer / pre order communication, clarifications, technical & back up offers.
Help Execution Team with the accurate site inputs while finalizing / making Designs for different Non Standard Arrangement for LT / Busbar / Cable Compartment incl. Busbar Arrangement, CT arrangement & associated Connections, Upper & Lower Feeder Connection.
Support Procurement Team to resolve various cost related issues during execution stage & align discussions with the suppliers to make it happen & make sure smooth order execution.
Drive various growth measures including Digitalization, Value Mapping & other HQ initiatives towards different portfolios.

This role is based in Kalwa. We are seeking for a professional with Minimum 5 years’ of experience with min. 2 years of proven experience in Offering / Proposal / Tendering activities of MV Switchboards, Service / Operations.
Highly Proficient with Medium & Low Voltage products / Systems / Retrofits
Familiar with Manufacturing Processes/Material Standards, measuring and test equipment.
Good communication skills & Customer orientation.Good solid understanding on AutoCAD, MS Office Tools. Must have an associate’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical.
