About the job
As Wisr continues to record quarter on quarter growth, our Risk & Compliance team is also growing with a key focus on assisting with the development and maintenance of our risk and compliance guidelines. This role will be working closely with our Executive team as well as our Manager, Operational Risk & Compliance where the work that you do directly impacts our business.
You will also be a key contributor in the design and implementation of our internal oversight risk framework.

Key Responsibilities include:
Assist with managing and continuously improving Wisr’s complaints handling process.
Conducting compliance reviews for all areas of the business, including identifying improvements and uplift programs where required.Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop and improve all elements of Wisr’s operational risk and compliance framework including risk registers, controls and testing.Keeping up to date with potential regulatory changes and drafting new policies when required.Providing operational risk and compliance advice to the business in order to aid in strategic objectives.Coordination of the monthly risk committee and preparation for the quarterly board risk committee.
About you
You are a curious earthling with a ‘can-do’ mindset who doesn’t take no for an initial answer. You love to do your research, find solutions to problems and implement them with a high degree of independence. You know that risk & compliance covers many areas and you love learning about all aspects, not just the typical, transactional compliance work.
You’ll also have:
1 + years’ experience working in a similar role or capacityExcellent communication skills to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of key stakeholders.Exceptional attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Relevant Tertiary qualification (legal background a plus but not essential).Good command of the full suite of MS Office or Google Office productsPrior experience of the regulatory environment within Financial Services is preferred but not essential
