Job Description : Risk Tech Support Engineer
We are assembling a strong technology team to build and support our next generation in-house risk and analytics tools. This team will provide L1/L2 support and have full ownership of the production environment for several key business lines (risk, analytics, trading).
Responsibilities
End to end ownership of the production environment:
Infrastructure management
Release planning and deployment
Incident and problem management
Capacity Planning / BCP Testing / Monitoring
Mandatory Requirements
Experience supporting an enterprise environment is essential
Experience supporting business facing applications is essential Candidates must have worked within a global financial services organization
Strong experience with DevOps tooling
SQL skills and knowledge of various database systems
Ability to support both Windows and Unix/Linux environments
Highly analytical with excellent problem solving ability
Self-starter with ability to quickly pick up new concepts and technologies (Cloud, Server less etc)
Previous experience with monitoring tools (DataDog, OpsGenie)
Strong organization and project management skills
Preferred Requirements
Python experience
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
Experience with at least one cloud provider ( AWS Preferred )
