Queensland Rail is looking for an innovative and passionate Safety Graduate to join our Safety, Risk and Assurance team. This role would suit a graduate who has a keen interest in people, risk and data analytics. You do not need to have a degree or diploma in Safety to be considered for this role as we are seeking graduates from a range of Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths, Social Science or Human Resource management backgrounds.

As a Safety Graduate you will be flexible and proactive, ready to take on new projects and drive new initiatives that will lead to safer outcomes for our employees and customers.

During your two years as a graduate, we will partner you with an excellent graduate mentor in your second year who will support and guide you. You’ll also participate in our Essential Skills program, internal networking days with a variety of guest speakers, regular site tours and coffee catch ups with executives, volunteering opportunities and access to a graduate development coordinator.

Degree: You must have completed a Bachelor’s degree. Nitty Gritty:
Our Safety Graduate will commence on a salary of approximately $53,953 + Superannuation. This salary is reviewed annually based on performance. Other benefits include leave loading, flexible working opportunities, scheduled pay increases and free rail travel when travelling to and from work on the Citytrain network.
This vacancy is on a two-year, fixed term contract basis.
