ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for Software Developers who are passionate about building complex systems to join our Infrastructure team.

What are we looking for?

Deep understanding of complex systems and aptitude to learn
Ability to articulate and quickly adopt development best practices
Expert knowledge of at least one programming language.
Expert knowledge of language best practices, security and performance
Experience with developing and supporting high traffic/scale
Familiarity with the frontend ecosystem, you don’t have to be pro
Excellent communication skills, we work asynchronously
The ability to get things done while reducing friction for your colleagues and other stakeholders. You respond rapidly when called upon and are proactive
Ready to learn DevOps tools/deployment techniques and practicesDecent knowledge of computer science concepts examples databases, networking and operating systems

Any of the following would be an added bonus:

Hands-on experience with cloud services for example AWS, GCP and Azure
Mentored or supported team members in the past
Curious to learn and adapt new technologies/frameworks
Worked as an Individual contributor in the past
Professional experience working on python, containerization and AWS
Open source contribution please mind that adding/removing spaces or fixing typos are not considered as a contribution because it doesn’t show any significant work
