An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Central, Corporate & Systems Finance Team at Pembrokeshire County Council.
The Council has recently implemented a new Financial Information Management System, which is key to transforming the way Pembrokeshire County Council plans, reports and manages its finances to meet its Corporate Objectives.

Supporting the Principal Accountant and Senior Accountant(s) we are looking for an experienced individual with Finance and/or IT qualifications who can demonstrate excellent IT skills, a methodical approach to problem solving and an aptitude for delivering change. The successful candidate will have the ability to use initiative when required and to be able to complete tasks within set deadlines, supplemented with excellent communication skills.
Reporting to the Principal Accountant for Central, Corporate & Systems, the core duties include:
Maintenance of the FIMS system
Development of the system including Reports
Ensuring GDPR regulations are adhered to
Communication with stakeholders
