Job Description : Are you analytical with a keen eye for identifying commercial opportunities? We’re looking for a senior assistant management accountant to join our finance team. Based in Ruddington, you’ll be coordinating the preparation of monthly management accounts and providing commercial insight to our stakeholders across the business.
What can you expect from the role?
In this role, you’ll get involved in preparing the monthly P&L, providing commentary to highlight areas of opportunities, as well as, reconciling the monthly balance sheets for your allocated accounts. We’re looking for someone who’s experienced in completing monthly analysis and reviews of balance sheets, occasionally working to tight timescales to make sure all reconciliations are completed on time.
Using your knowledge and skills, you’ll continuously improve the quality of management accounts, including the presentation of analysis and regular reporting. We’ll look to you to take on additional projects and to support with the preparation of store and store support centre budgets.

About you
We’re looking for candidates with previous experience of working in a management accounts role. You’ll also ideally be working towards a relevant accounting qualification as well as having strong Microsoft Office knowledge.

With a strong background in data analytics, we’re looking for someone with a keen eye for attention to detail. As well as being quality and results focused, you’ll have experience of working in a fast paced environment.
