Job Description : Summary of the Role
This is a key role focused on the design and implementation of the cloud migration project for Amadeus Internal IT services including:
A Linux architect is required to define the Linux offer of the Amadeus Azure platform. This service will be consumed by the DTS solution owners to move their application to the cloud.
Design of the Amadeus Corporate IT platform in a public cloud environment
Migration planning of Amadeus’ Corporate IT services to a public cloud platform
Supporting the migration project in their journey to the cloud-based platform
Operating and governance of the Linux platform
This is an architecture role focused on Linux environment , Ideal candidate should have strong hands on in implementing Linux offerings within Azure/ AWS environments
Main Responsibilities
Define the Linux service offer in cloud environment
Define features, program increments & releases
Creating and maintaining the roadmap for the migration to the cloud platform
Designing and implementing Linux architecture of the internal IT cloud platform
Designing and implementing security architecture for the new cloud platform based on the corporate security standards
Define and implement Backup / recover and Disaster Recovery architecture of cloud platform
Support definition of operating model for cloud platform
Align with other Amadeus entities to identify and realize synergies with their cloud platforms
Expert for level 3 incident resolution
About the ideal candidate
Mandatory:
Graduate / Post graduate with 7 – 9 years of experience
Cloud Architecture in Azure and / or AWS; focused on Linux platform.
Competences in defining Cloud Security design and operation
Competences in operation and ITIL
Excellent communication skills
Good Analytical skills
Requirement to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Optional:
Implementing and operating the Cloud tool stack (OpenShift and/or Kubernetes, Terraform)
Project Management
SAFe Agile methodology
