Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Data Scientist – Forecasting will work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams to define, develop, deploy and sustain complex supply chain digital solutions at scale. In this role, you will deploy predictive and optimization models for digital supply chain products that help deliver significant value to our customers, businesses and functions. Key Accountabilities

Contribute to the design, development and deployment of forecasting solutions and lead new features modeling on designated Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning platforms
Provide thought leadership and guidance across a wide range of use-cases and data science techniques.
Own supply chain data science efforts such as data analysis, model development, deployment, and monitoring.
Work on multidisciplinary teams of product owners, data engineers, software engineers, data scientists, and business subject-matter experts to deploy complex large-scale projects on time.
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned.

This position could be located in Minneapolis, MN USA, Wichita, KS USA or Bangalore, India Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, math OR related field OR equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Applied Machine Learning experience (could include the following techniques: regression analysis, time series, probabilistic models, supervised, classification and unsupervised learning)
Experience with prototyping languages (Python or R) Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or PhD in Computer science, Engineering, Operational Research, Math or related field
Three or more years of experience in Supply Chain Planning
Professional experience applying predictive models for Supply Chain solutions
Experience with timeseries forecasting (such as ARIMA, Prophet, DeepAR, etc.)
Experience with JavaScript or similar programming language
Strong mathematical background (including linear algebra, calculus, probability and statistics)
