Our engineers develop ground-breaking software products in the spaces of Artificial Intelligence, Health Epidemiology, Chatbots, and Health Monitoring.
We are looking for a motivated and technically capable Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our DevOps community. You would be working alongside our product teams to improve the way we build, release and iterate on our software. You would be working on initiatives that develop and facilitate the development of our infrastructure and tooling.
Tech Stack: Kubernetes, Terraform, New Relic, Python 3, Java 11, Scala 2, React, React Native, Kafka, Postgres, CircleCI, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, AWS, GCP, REST/GraphQL, and Microservices
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
Lead an ongoing effort across multiple product teams to implement SLOs to increase resiliency across our entire tech stack
Collaborate on building a day two ready microservice platform and blueprints
Work with our cloud and security engineering teams to improve our platform’s developer experience and operational excellence
Develop software to build continuous delivery and integration for our pipelines and platforms while fixing gaps in existing tooling and vendors
Collaborate with software developers, infrastructure engineers, and data scientists to help implement robust and scalable software products
Create workshops, training, and knowledge sharing across the organization.
Contribute in general to team deliverables
On-call rotation assisted by SRE ambassadors
WHAT MAKES THIS JOB AWESOME:
You will lead and impact a dozen teams, across fifty-plus services, deployed on four different continents
Develop skills across a variety of platforms and contribute to real open source projects like Open Telemetry observability stack
Take a deep dive into AI/ML and how we use them to create immersive web and mobile experiences at scale.
WHAT WE NEED TO SEE IN YOU:
Minimum 5 years of overall experience in IT industry and minimum 2 years in DevOps role
Comfortable building and maintaining Python codebases.
Enjoys troubleshooting a variety of programming languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, Rust, Golang, and Ruby
Deep understanding of building distributed systems on AWS
Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and Kubernetes (EKS) for container orchestration
Production knowledge of Postgres and Redis administration
Appreciation of the nuance of working in a regulated environment
Proficient coding in Python is highly desirable
Building and supporting teams creating cloud-native applications
Experience with at least one major cloud vendor
Expertise in containerization orchestration
Advanced understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile practices
A collaborative, proactive, and curious mindset
