Job Description – Scenario Simulation Senior Engineer

Your Responsibilities as a Scenario Simulation Senior Engineer:

Understand ADAS features, design and develop the simulation scenario for all levels of AD functions.
Validation of simulation tool chain for various relevant standards for simulation.
Responsible for interacting with internal customers to understand their requirements and design efficient solutions.
Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks for the development of simulation infrastructure for ADAS testing.
Thoroughly understand the existing products, proposes technical solutions. Strive to optimize the engineering by applying multiple techniques
Be flexible and work in a completely dynamic & agile environment.
Be a persistent, creative problem solver, good team player
Collaborate with team to brainstorm and create new and improve the products
Mentoring fresh engineers to support their skill enhancement.

As a Scenario Simulation Senior Engineer:

You will be part of Emerging digital technologies cluster in the ZF – Corporate Research and Development (R&D) division.
You will be part of the global team at ZF contributing to Autonomous Driving / Advanced Driving Assistance Systems /Digital Twins/ AI and Machine learning teams to build digital applications, work on cloud and data technologies and to develop infrastructure to deploy algorithms on embedded devices and web or simulators.
You get an opportunity to work and understand software development in complex systems (V-Model development)
You understand the simulation environment and develop the tools to foster the same.
Opportunity to design innovative solutions to support the product development strategies.

Qualifications:

Good hands-on experience with the simulation tool IPG CarMaker/CarSim, RoadRunner, VTD Vires or any other similar tool for developing test scenarios.
Understanding of vehicle systems and it’s behavior.
Familiarity with open-source technologies (OpenDrive, OpenSCENARIO).
Experience with Simulink for developing vehicle functions.
Understanding of Geo Reference and Mapping
Sumo Traffic simulation and integration with different tools
Python knowledge is an added advantage.
Effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.

Education & Experience:
BTech, or MTech in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent research experience.
4+ years of experience in ADAS feature and simulation scenario development.
