Job Description : 6+ years web applications development experience

Experience with front end testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Selenium, Cypress etc)
Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue)

The AWS Resource Management team is working on shaping and revolutionizing how AWS customers explore and manage their resources. If you are passionate about building web applications, interested in developing products used by thousands of AWS customers, and want to shape the AWS user experience of tomorrow, we’d love to talk to you!

AWS customers can have hundreds of accounts, thousands or more EC2 instances, billions of S3 objects, and trillions of DynamoDB items. Managing and reasoning individual resources among trillions of anything is impractical and in some cases impossible.

That is why we are looking for a talented Senior Front End Engineer to join and help us building a user experience that allows our customers to explore, organize and govern their AWS cloud resources across the globe.

Our goal is to create a seamless experience for our customers to model their AWS resources in a meaningful, personalized ways. Our work makes AWS more approachable for users and ensures our customers have the needed services and features to manage their AWS resources at scale.

Key job responsibilities

As a Senior Front End Engineer you will:

Work as the technical leader developing improvements across multiple front end applications.
Take part in defining the technical architecture that will allow us to create a scalable and reusable components across different applications.
Work in a cooperative team environment and enjoy working through complex and ambiguous problems.
Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and UX designers across the organization.
Enhance our operational excellence by continuously measuring and improving the performance, security and availability of the products owned by your team.
Define, implement and measure operational and business KPIs.

AWS Resource Management offers services and tools customers can use to explore, organize, and manage their resources with a unified and consistent experience across AWS.

We make resource management easy and scale seamlessly. Our customers can manage resources as their infrastructure operates across services, Regions, and accounts. Our services and tools collectively offer a comprehensive and authoritative experience to manage resources.

In this context, you would be helping us shape and revolutionize how AWS customers explore, organize, manage and govern their resources in an easy and scalable way.

Passion for creating efficient, scalable web interfaces
Experience with micro frontends
Experience building rich data-driven web applications by consuming RESTful services and APIs.
Experience driving software projects, including design, implementation, and deployment.
Expertise in ReactJS and component web development
Excellent problem solving ability
Deep understanding of best testing practices
Passion for Operational Excellence: defining measuring and improving on operational and business KPIs.
Genuinely excited about technology, have a strong interest in learning about and playing with the latest technologies and building compelling web applications and UI
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Informatics or equivalent experience
